Embodied Rest: Hustle Culture is Over

Nov 03, 2021

Online entrepreneurs have begun to preach more rest…which is good.

The trouble for most comes when trying to understand

embodied rest vs forced rest…

True rest vs guilt rest…

Rest for rest’s sake vs rest because you believe your business will reward you for it…

Hustle culture is done. People step into the world of online coaching to get away from the 9-5, constantly working, always “on” stress.

And yes, work is required to get to where you want to go, there were definitely times I hustled my ass off while building my business.

And there were also so many instances of guilt free rest.

Rest in the form of actual rest, or just in the form of time off, car rides, day trips, workouts.

Might my business be further along if I refused to stop the hustle? Maybe.

But what’s the point of that? Do I want a business so that I can have a successful business, or do I want a business so that I can...

Coaches: You're Allowed to Focus On The Now

Oct 27, 2021

Had a convo on a client call yesterday about constantly searching for that “sweet spot” in life.

The coaching industry is full of people telling us to constantly grow, achieve, reach for more (my page has been full of that too, I know!)

Here’s what I’ve realized after dedicating over half a decade to this work:

it’s not about creating a life of “more” in the future, it’s about recognizing all of the MORE there is in your life right now

It’s a complicated topic for people new to personal development and growth. I started this work because my life DIDN’T feel perfect, so wasn’t the point to focus on future goals to MAKE my life perfect?

I think it’s ridiculous to believe that EVERYTHING in our life is meant to stay the same all the time. If I hadn’t focused on what I wanted in my future, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

But I also know that if I hadn’t...

Freedom: What Does it Look Like To You?

Oct 20, 2021

What’s freedom to you?

Freedom to me is being able to do what I want, when I want to do it.

Fly across the country for a week, launch a coaching program to make a few grand, spend a week on the couch with some good novels.

Freedom to me is…not doing what I don’t want to do, when I don’t feel like doing it.

Not feeling pressured to work just because I “should”, knowing that I can support myself (abundantly) on 10 hours/week…not saying yes to invitations to hang out when I’d rather be alone, not have to tell the whole world all of my business at every moment (even when my whole business is based around sharing my life).

THAT’S freedom to me.

Not $80,000 months because I have 20 private clients who take up all my time so I HAVE to make $20k in the bathtub because multitasking relaxation with work is the only way I get to relax

Embodied business is about erasing all of the outside...

Embodying the Next Level Version Of Yourself

Oct 13, 2021

From some one who did just that.

It was only 5 years ago that I was living in my parents basement, devastated by the end of my 4 year relationship, hating my body, and $10,000 in debt. It’s crazy how things have changed, and I’m going to fill you in a little bit on how.

It all starts with TRUST. Trusting within yourself.

If you want to build trust within yourself that you can be, do, and have anything you want…

Start taking the big, scary leaps NOW. Choose the thing you KNOW you want to do and no matter how crazy you feel, do it.

Every time I make a move in my life that makes others go “uhh that’s risky” I end up grateful for it for a million reasons, beyond just getting myself what I wanted in the first place. Leaving my teaching job, starting my business, moving to california..

Taking the risk builds self trust that I can count on myself and provide the life I desire, and don’t take...

Understanding the Subconscious Mind

Oct 06, 2021

Want to know why it’s so hard to change a habit “even when you know better”? I’m about to tell you.

We are consciously aware of only 5% of our mind’s daily activity.

This means that 95% of all of your thoughts, feelings, fears and decisions are taking place in your subconscious mind (SCM).

The reason this is helpful for us as humans is we can run through daily tasks on autopilot. We don’t have to THINK about each individual action involved in brushing our teeth in the morning, we just automatically get up and do it, leaving more space in our conscious mind (CM) for thoughts around our to-do lists and new ideas.

You’ve probably become consciously aware of your SCM taking control before while driving—suddenly looking up and realizing you safely got to your destination without feeling like you paid any attention to turns, traffic lights or other cars.

Our SCM’s prominence is handy for the most...

Aligning Yourself With The Life You Want

Sep 29, 2021

The life you want already exists, it’s just waiting for you to step into it

my apartment complex existed long before I thought of it and appeared here

it was always already here and available for me

I just had to step into alignment with the type of person who would find it

and that type of person was someone who lived in CA and was looking for apartments

my boyfriend was alive and walking this earth before I was

he’s always existed, was always available to me

I just had to step into alignment with the version of me who would meet him

who would receive him

who he’d receive

what you want is already yours

the money, the impact, the love, the results

it’s all already here

you just have to become the person who says yes and no with conviction when your gut tells you it’s the right next move, even if you consciously don’t know why and even if it’s crazy and scary

because otherwise you’ll just keep...

Don't "What If" Yourself To Death

Sep 22, 2021

When you’re preparing to commit to something new, your brain runs through the list of reasons you should stay right the fuck in your lane:

  • you’re already too busy
  • you never commit to change
  • you should really save your money
  • you’re not that type of person

Here’s my question: what if none of that were true?

What if making this new choice was going to help you stay calm about your schedule? Was going to help you see “busy” as “full and active and energizing” rather than “I don’t have time for ANYTHING ELSE”? What if you flipped your mindset from desiring change to desiring growth? What if you didn’t have to become a different person, you just got to grow into the soul that already (and always has) existed inside you?

What if the reason you feel insecure about your money is because you never learned wealth care? What if you let your money flow to the places you felt pulled to spend it,...

What It Actually Takes To Become A 6 Figure Business Owner: Inner Child Work

Sep 15, 2021

Let me cut right to the chase, because you clicked on this for a reason.

The Answer: Getting real with yourself about how and why you’re actively holding yourself back from receiving $ and clients.

Sounds vague, I know. Keep reading. You’re holding onto pain inside your body.

You look down at your belly spilling over your jeans and you remember your mom’s constant dieting when you were a child. Your brain registers this to mean that chubby=not worthy. Who is going to choose to work with you? You hide parts of yourself away.

You laugh out loud and have a flashback to the girl in middle school who called your laugh obnoxious and annoying. Your brain reminds you that it’s not safe to fully express yourself, people won’t like you. They'll make fun of you.

What makes you think people will pay you when they’re embarrassed by you? You hide parts of yourself away.

You think about the 17-year-old-you who fell in...

My Top 3 Tips for Setting Intentions

Sep 08, 2021

MY TOP 3 TIPS FOR SETTING INTENTIONS

1 Keep your list short and sweet. The less your mind has to focus on, the easier it will be to stay aligned with what’s most important to you.

2 Write out each intention and then pull a Tarot or oracle card for insight on what you need to do, remember and step into in order to achieve what you intend to.

3 Write all of your intentions in the positive tense. Your brain doesn’t process negatives, so if you say “no alcohol” or “alcohol free”, it has to first think of “alcohol” in order to process. Instead, try “waking up each morning feeling fresh and rejuvenated”.

The more we declare what we’re calling in, the more positive energy we are attaching to it.

What are your intentions for this month?

When You Keep Falling off Track With Your Goals

Sep 01, 2021

We’ve all been there.

That feeling of falling off track or going backwards after having felt like you were doing "so well" (whatever that means, right??)

For example:

You're over your breakup, you're thriving, Bumbling like a boss, feeling great...and then you wake up one morning after an embarrassing drunk dialing moment.

You build a new solid routine for yourself, waking up early, working out, eating well, journaling, mediating...and then completely fall off track with it for a reason you can't pinpoint.

You feel healed from a certain painful memory...and then something brings the fear and shame back up inside of you full force.

Frustrating, right?

Why can't I just get this right?

Why am I the only one who can't make this stick?

First: you're not the only one. There just aren't too many people out there bragging about texting their exes and eating 6 bowls of ice cream in one night or reliving their worst life experiences in their head, ya know?

No, it...
